Dawson Knox
Dawson Knox Blanked in Week 3
Fri, Sep 19, 2025, 2:16 PM
Knox wasn't targeted during Thursday night's 31-21 win over the Dolphins.
Analysis: After catching four of his seven targets for 39 yards over Buffalo's first two games this season, Knox wasn't involved in the offensive game plan in Week 3. His counterpart, Dalton Kincaid, was the Bills' most effective receiver Thursday, catching five of his six targets for 66 yards and one touchdown. Knox appears firmly behind Kincaid as the top receiving option in Buffalo's tight end corps, but he'll likely be more involved in a Week 4 matchup against the Saints.
Tyrell Shavers
Tyrell Shavers Catches two passes in win
Fri, Sep 19, 2025, 12:11 PM
Shavers caught both of his targets for 24 yards in the Bills' win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Analysis: They marked Shavers' first catches of the season, as he operated as Buffalo's WR5, seeing 12 offensive snaps behind Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer and Elijah Moore. Shavers has next-to-zero fantasy value.
Elijah Moore
Elijah Moore Catches two passes in TNF victory
Fri, Sep 19, 2025, 12:09 PM
Moore caught two of three targets for 30 yards in Buffalo's 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night. He added one rush for 11 yards.
Analysis: Moore operated as the Bills' WR4 against Miami, seeing 14 offensive snaps. Buffalo spreads the ball around so much that it's nearly impossible to predict target shares for the team's pass catchers. Moore is little more than an end-of-bench option in the deepest of PPR fantasy leagues.
Ray Davis
Ray Davis Doesn't touch ball against Miami
Fri, Sep 19, 2025, 12:02 PM
Davis failed to record a touch on offense in Buffalo's 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Analysis: After rushing nine times for 24 yards on 20 offensive snaps in the Bills' Week 2 win over the Jets, Davis logged just four snaps on offense against Miami. Davis is merely a bench stash in fantasy in the event James Cook ever goes down with an injury.
Ty Johnson
Ty Johnson Totals 21 yards in TNF win
Fri, Sep 19, 2025, 11:59 AM
Johnson rushed three times for 13 yards and caught one pass for eight yards in Buffalo's win over Miami on Thursday night.
Analysis: Johnson played 15 offensive snaps behind James Cook and has now amassed 51 total yards on eight touches through three games. He has minimal fantasy value.
Joshua Palmer
Joshua Palmer One catch Thursday
Fri, Sep 19, 2025, 11:23 AM
Palmer was on the field for 26 of a possible 60 snaps on offense in Thursday's 31-21 win over the Dolphins.
Analysis: After being targeted nine times Week 1 and three times Week 2, Palmer logged just one target (for five yards) Thursday. While a bounce-back is possible as soon as Week 4 against the Saints, fellow WRs Elijah Moore and Tyrell Shavers combined for five targets versus Miami, while Keon Coleman (45) and Khalil Shakir (42) paced the team in terms of Week 3 snaps.
Dalton Kincaid
Dalton Kincaid Paces pass catchers in Week 3 win
Thu, Sep 18, 2025, 11:12 PM
Kincaid secured five of six targets for 66 yards and a touchdown in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Analysis: Kincaid led the Bills in receptions, receiving yards and targets on the night, rounding out his productive performance with a 20-yard outstretched touchdown grab in the first quarter that answered Miami's early score. The athletic tight end has arguably been Buffalo's most consistent game-to-game pass catcher for fantasy purposes through the first three games, as he'll take a 13-151-2 line on 16 targets into a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Keon Coleman
Keon Coleman Three catches in Week 3 win
Thu, Sep 18, 2025, 11:08 PM
Coleman secured three of four targets for 20 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Analysis: The second-year wideout was tied for third in receptions for the Bills on the night, but that led to a very modest yardage tally. Coleman got his season off to a memorable start with an 8-112-1 line against the Ravens in Buffalo's wild Week 1 win, but he sports a combined 6-46-0 tally on seven targets over the subsequent pair of contests. The Bills haven't been forced to be anywhere near as aggressive as in that first game, however, so Coleman retains plenty of upside in the right game environment. Nevertheless, a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28 could be another low-volume day for the air attack.
Khalil Shakir
Khalil Shakir Scores first TD of season Thursday
Thu, Sep 18, 2025, 11:04 PM
Shakir brought in all four targets for 45 yards and a touchdown during the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Analysis: The highlight of Shakir's night was a tie-breaking 15-yard touchdown grab just after the halfway point of the fourth quarter, a play on which he went in motion before reversing course at the snap, catching a swing pass out of the backfield and scooting up the left side of the field into the end zone. Shakir's receiving line represented a decent resurgence after he was limited to one catch for 12 yards against the Jets in Week 2, and he'll remain one of Josh Allen's primary targets in a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.
James Cook
James Cook Eclipses 100 total yards in win
Thu, Sep 18, 2025, 10:37 PM
Cook rushed 19 times for 108 yards and a touchdown and brought in all three targets for 10 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night.
Analysis: Cook served as the ideal complement to the exploits of Josh Allen through the air (228 yards, three touchdowns). The star running back had a game-long run of 26 yards, so he was able to consistently find running room throughout the night. The 2022 second-round pick also recorded his fourth rushing touchdown of the season on a two-yard run to cap off the first drive of the second half, and he'll take a stellar figure of 5.4 yards per carry into a Week 4 home matchup against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28.
Josh Allen
Josh Allen Highly efficient in Week 3 win
Thu, Sep 18, 2025, 10:29 PM
Allen completed 22 of 28 passes for 213 yards with three touchdowns and no interceptions while adding four rushes for 25 yards in the Bills' 31-21 win over the Dolphins on Thursday night. He also fumbled once but recovered.
Analysis: Allen finished with a sparkling 134.1 QB rating in the divisional win, which may have been more tightly contested than initially expected. As a result, the star signal-caller was appreciably more involved through the air than during a comfortable Week 2 win against the Jets, completing passes to nine different targets overall. Allen's first two scoring tosses went to tight ends Dalton Kincaid (20 yards) and Jackson Hawes (five yards), the latter a nifty heave while on the run. Allen closed out his night with a 15-yard strike to Khalil Shakir midway through the fourth quarter to snap a 21-21 tie, and he'll head into a Week 4 home date against the Saints on Sunday, Sept. 28 with an unblemished 5:0 TD:INT and career-best 69.7 percent completion rate through his first three contests.
Curtis Samuel
Curtis Samuel Inactive again
Thu, Sep 18, 2025, 5:57 PM
Samuel (coach's decision) is inactive for Thursday night's game against the Dolphins.
Analysis: Samuel has been a healthy scratch for all three of the Bills' games, so it will probably take an injury to a fellow WR to get him back on the team's game-day roster. Khalil Shakir, Keon Coleman, Joshua Palmer, Elijah Moore and Tyrell Shavers are Buffalo's active wide receivers versus Miami.
Dawson Knox
Dawson Knox Two grabs in Week 2
Wed, Sep 17, 2025, 6:01 AM
Knox caught two of five targets for 19 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Knox's five targets Sunday were second only to fellow tight end Dalton Kincaid, who saw six targets from quarterback Josh Allen. The 28-year-old Knox did play more offensive snaps, however, finishing with 41 snaps while Kincaid played 36 snaps. Despite the increased target share, Knox should not be considered for fantasy purposes as long as Kincaid is healthy. The Bills are set to host the Dolphins in Week 3.
Elijah Moore
Elijah Moore Three touches in win
Wed, Sep 17, 2025, 5:55 AM
Moore caught his lone target for 31 yards and carried the ball twice for six yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Moore followed up his quiet season opener with a better statistical day Sunday, finding the end zone for the first time this season. With that said, the veteran wideout was still mostly an afterthought in the Bills offensive scheme, as he was targeted just once in the passing game while playing just 40 percent of Buffalo's offensive snaps. Moore's limited role in the offense makes him very difficult to trust for fantasy purposes heading into a Week 2 matchup against the Dolphins.
Ty Johnson
Ty Johnson Minimal production against Jets
Wed, Sep 17, 2025, 5:50 AM
Johnson rushed twice for six yards and failed to secure his lone target in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Johnson was not a big part of the Bills' game plan Sunday, playing just 19 of Buffalo's 75 offensive snaps behind both James Cook (35) and Ray Davis (20). The veteran running back has just four total rushes and zero catches on three targets through the first two games of the season. Barring an injury to either Cook or Davis, Johnson is unlikely to hold much reliable fantasy value in an offense flush with playmakers. The 28-year-old will get his next chance to be more involved when the Bills host the Dolphins in Week 3.
Ray Davis
Ray Davis Handles nine carries against Jets
Wed, Sep 17, 2025, 5:09 AM
Davis rushed nine times for 24 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Davis saw an uptick in usage in Week 2 after playing just 10 snaps and rushing the ball once in Week 1. Despite his increased opportunities, the second-year running back was unable to get much going in the contest. Meanwhile, starter James Cook had an excellent day, finishing the game with 21 rushes for 132 yards and two touchdowns on the ground. As long as Cook is healthy, Davis should not be considered for fantasy purposes beyond an insurance policy. The 25-year-old will have his next chance to improve upon his slow start in Week 3, however, when the Bills host the Dolphins.
Joshua Palmer
Joshua Palmer Paces team with 47 receiving yards
Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 5:51 PM
Palmer caught two of three targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Most of Palmer's production came on a 32-yard reception from Mitchell Trubisky, who came in for a pair of plays in the first quarter as Josh Allen tended to a nosebleed and again for mop-up duty down the stretch. Despite taking a step back from his five-catch, 61-yard Bills debut, Palmer led the team in receiving yards in Week 2, as Buffalo went with a much more run-heavy approach. Palmer has established himself as a top-three wide receiver on the team alongside Keon Coleman and Khalil Shakir heading into Thursday's home game against the Dolphins.
Dalton Kincaid
Dalton Kincaid Another four-catch outing
Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 5:49 PM
Kincaid caught four of six targets for 37 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Kincaid led the Bills in targets and receiving yards as the passing attack took a back seat to the running game, which produced 224 yards and three touchdowns. The 2023 first-round pick has opened his third NFL campaign with a pair of four-catch performances and should remain involved in Thursday's Week 3 home game against the Dolphins.
Khalil Shakir
Khalil Shakir Struggles against Jets continue
Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 5:48 PM
Shakir caught one of two targets for 12 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Shakir has struggled against a Jets defense with a strong secondary and plenty of weaknesses elsewhere, exceeding 25 receiving yards only once in seven career matchups in the AFC East rivalry. Buffalo's 2024 leader in receiving yards has a nice opportunity to bounce back Thursday against a Dolphins defense that is allowing 33 points per game.
Keon Coleman
Keon Coleman Held in check by Jets
Sun, Sep 14, 2025, 5:47 PM
Coleman caught all three of his targets for 26 yards in Sunday's 30-10 win over the Jets.
Analysis: Coleman came back down to earth after recording 112 receiving yards and a touchdown in the season opener, as all three of Buffalo's Week 2 touchdowns came on the ground. The Bills will likely continue to spread the ball around, but the 2024 second-round pick leads the team with 14 targets and 138 receiving yards heading into Thursday's home game against a Dolphins defense that has allowed 33 points to each of its first two opponents.
